Spicy Sweet Potato Fries

Spicy Sweet Potato Fries

Let's Dip

These things are delicious. But be warned. If you have them waiting for you at home, you may find yourself making excuses to dip out of annoying social obligations to go home and dip these babies into some hummus. Now that’s our kind of happy hour.

Featuring: Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

product

Ingredients:

  • 1 container Tribe Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
  • 3 large sweet potatoes, scrubbed clean
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoons coconut Sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne
  • lime
  • cilantro

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 425ºF. Peel sweet potatoes and cut into thin, even match sticks with a very sharp knife or a crinkle knife. Mix sweet potatoes, oil and spices in a large bowl until coated evenly. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roast sweet potato fries on a baking sheet for 25 minutes or until crisp, turning once halfway through. Once they’re done, top them with fresh squeezed lime, cilantro, salt or all of that. Go for it. Serve with Tribe Roasted Red Pepper Hummus for dipping to round out the full flavor experience.
