Hummus is a great tasting and healthy alternative to dairy based dips and spreads. It can be used as a spread on sandwiches or a topping on main courses. As an easy snack to prepare and serve, hummus is a FUN FOOD loved by adults and kids!
As an appetizer at a restaurant table, a pleasant surprise for an airline traveler, a student's delight in a dining hall, and finally something vegetarian and special on a room service menu, the applications for Hummus are as unlimited as your imagination.
IT'S A DIP!
Spread your favorite Tribe Hummus around a shallow round plate, sprinkle with paprika, and drizzle a little olive oil in the center. Serve with pickles, olives, red onion slices, tomato slices, and warm pita bread. |

IT'S A TOPPING!
Open a baked potato and top with Tribe Scallion Hummus instead of sour cream. |

IT'S A SPREAD!
Spread Tribe Hummus on a warm, fresh bagel instead of cream cheese. Any sandwich will delight when you use hummus instead of mayo. With a burger add sliced tomato and red onion, or match with chicken, turkey, or grilled fish.

IT'S AN ENTIRE MEAL!
Tribe Fettucini Alfredo with Hummus
Cook fettucini al Dente and drain. Empty one cup of Tribe Roasted Garlic Hummus in a saucepan. Add 4 tbsp. water and heat gently. Toss with fettucini, sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve. |

Tuna/Hummus Sandwich
Mix one can of tuna (drained) with two tbsp. of Tribe Roasted Red Pepper Hummus. Spread on whole wheat bread and add lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. |

| Carrot Hummus Pita Pizza |
Spread Tribe Roasted Garlic Hummus on one side of a piece of a pita loaf. Top with shredded carrot, and bake on a pan in a 400°F oven until pita is crispy and hummus starts to brown.
Smoked Salmon and Dill Pizza
Spread Tribe Dill Hummus on top side of a pita pocket. Cover with diced red onion and finely chopped smoked salmon and bake at 400°F until pita is crispy and Hummus starts to brown. |

Make a Hummus Walkabout
Split a large piece of pita bread open. Using one side per sandwich, spread Tribe Hummus on the inside of the pita half. Add chopped tomatoes, red onions, and shredded lettuce. Roll it up like a cone, wrap the bottom in a napkin, and eat as you walk about. |

Tribe Caesar Salad
Add 2 tbsp. lemon juice and 1 tsp. olive oil to 4 ounces of Tribe Roasted Garlic Hummus. Whip until smooth. Toss with cut romaine lettuce. Add toasted pita croutons (toast a pita loaf and cut into 1/4 inch squares). |
