Industrial Performance Specialist
The Industrial Performance Specialist is responsible to identify and drive sustainable improvements affecting the entire factory operations, including those at co-manufacturing locations. The role involves cross functional cooperation, engaging key personnel’s and leading employees in order to co-ordinate wide scale improvement in factory. The Industrial Performance Specialist must work closely with the Factory IP Manager and maintain active network with market IP community to facilitate benchmarking and implementation of best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Support
- Ensure compliance to corporate and factory standards to provide consistent measuring, monitoring and improvement of performance while safeguarding people, products and assets.
- Ensure proper application of the "Managing Manufacturing Performance" instructions, ensure proper measurements of factory capacity and proactively strive to optimize utilization of assets.
- Ensure that the impact of complexity is properly understood. Ensure the use of Continuous Improvement tools.
- Ensure work place safety and effective communication of Safety, Health and Environment to all team members.
Manage improvements and have a change impact

Co-ordinate and lead/ facilitate teams to implement sustained improvements in order to reduce total delivered costs, and ensure effective employment of resources and facilities through successful project delivery. Maximize people involvement and engagement in change projects enabling to develop a change accepting culture throughout operations.
Capacity Management

Participate, with the factory management team and aligned with business initiatives, in the development of consolidated medium to long term factory development plan in respect to capacity and manpower requirements.
People development support and factory knowledge/communication

Promote the exchange of information and best practices and conduct Internal and External Benchmarking.

Ensure training as required on Continuous Improvement methods and Industrial Performance tools.

Build and maintain the level of Industrial Performance expertise in the factory by the development of employees and staff and exposure to projects.
Qualifications
-
Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business or Information Systems
-
2 to 5 years experience in manufacturing, engineering, quality or supply chain

Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain operations, industrial engineering tools and methodologies

Project management and computer knowledge
-
Strong Microsoft Office capabilities

Understanding of components of total delivered costs and factors to influence it
